I agree with most of what you say but having Mitch Benn and Ben Goldacre appearing meant that I could persuade my husband who isn't fannish to give Eastercon a try.

I do think the BDSM workshops aren't the most intelligent choice of programming but I think committees should be allowed the odd mistake.
