All Books are Contained in Fandom

Don't suppose anyone has a spare reading copy of "Rebecca's World" by Terry Nation knocking around, do they? Marianne has read the first three chapters and, being of the fannish nature, knows that she needs a copy of her own, library versions won't do because they have to *go back*. And for the very first time she's hit on a book that's seriously collectable. Obviously any complete condition would be fine, the shabbier the better really, given what a rare book it is.

I have a very nice paperback here in good condition bar the inscription 'Maureen S.Porter, 1979' inside the front cover. Somehow, I don't think I'll be needing it myself so if Marianne would like it I can get it into the post in the next few days for her.

Gosh, that was a good book. Perhaps with the new popularity of the Daleks some enlightened publisher will bring it back into print?

I also have been looking for this book for a long time, at a price I can afford. I read this book when I was young, and have been looking for a copy for my daughter. I too have no interest in the condition as long as it is readable. Would it be possible to pass this book to on to me after Marianne has finished with it (I realise this might be some time), for my daughter to read. Or if anyone else out there has a readable copy or knows where I can get one cheap, I would appreciate this.

Likewise, if anyone knows the whereabouts of Journey to the Forbidden Planet, can you please let me know. I would love to read this and see if it is as good as Rebecca's World.
